Amy loves to write!
“The passion for writing, the sense of awe of talking with people, so combine her love for television and a fascination of listening to unusual personal stories is what TV Talk Amy is all about.”
Amy Bakari loves to write. She says, “Although being in the business of internet radio was completely unexpected, it was my way of finding something to do after a series of missteps…it was like making a tasty glass of lemonade from half a lemon mixed with water and one bag of Equal, And I consider it one of the best decisions that I have ever acted on.”
Internet radio became Amy’s self-help therapy for finding something productive to do in her life after a series of unfortunate missteps. To Amy, “It was finding something good in something bad.”
Amy’s first big internet radio interview was with MSNBC/NBC Political Director, Chuck Todd which happened during one of the most decisive primaries in America’s political history – the Potomac-Chesapeake Primaries. Chuck (Mr. Todd) gave me the rundown of the numbers and that started my career off as an internet radio host of In My Pajamas Show©.”
From that, Amy parlayed that one show into more quality content shows along with acquiring exceptional guests and having interesting topics to talk about.
Amy Bakari is also the supervising producer of the In My Pajamas Show© and Amy and Friends Show – a place where people are encouraged to share their ideas and thoughts about their business, dreams, and aspirations. She is also the content producer of Team H50 and Weekend Momma.
Amy has been privileged to be part of the Hawaii Five-0 Press Junket (2013 – present) during its annual Sunset On The Beach – Season Premiere held at Waikiki Beach.
“I am a little bit of Jo March and a little bit of Lois Lane. Lois Lane’s relentless search for the truth, and Jo March’s hopeless romantic trait – someone who holds the sentimental and idealistic views on life and love, especially in spite of experience, evidence, or exhortations otherwise.”
Amy loves writing and loves sharing it with the world.
Amy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Public Relations. Spent 10 years in Bologna, Italy where she earned a certificate and license as an Italian Sign Language Interpreter and Educator.
