Alex Brinson said, growing up in a West Philadelphia neighborhood, encouraged by his mother to have the best life possible and pursue his passion for performing.<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillytrib.com\/entertainment\/philly-native-goes-to-new-heights-in-all-rise\/article_12affb1e-4800-5991-9c6e-d727520583aa.html#:~:text=%E2%80%9COne%20of%20the%20things%20we,young%20bailiff%20is%20a%20hustler.\"> [Philly Tribe, 2019]<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s what just he did, followed his dream, and earned a place in the drama division at the Juilliard School in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>After a series of theatre performances and minor television roles that includes \u201cPrison Break,\u201d \u201cThe X-Files,\u201d and \u201cSupernatural,\u201d before landing a recurring part on the sci-fi series \u201cTravelers,\u201d with Eric McCormack.<\/p>\n<p>These days, J. Alex Brinson, together with All Rise&#8217;s cast, makes us look forward to Monday evenings. J Alex brings Philly&#8217;s touch to his character Luke Watkins, bailiff to the newly minted African American Judge Lola Carmichael. Like his character who aims to much more than he is, J.
